Lovely meal with a view of the hills and vineyard. Very accomodating of kids who enjoyed their meals too.
Average Menu since my earlier visits a few years ago. Only average service as well. Set package menu is disappointing.. Worth a visit for "first timers" but possibly not a second visit.Property is well maintained with stunning views.Meal presentation was nice. Very small portions of food given the price.Hope they go back to the old menu and old service they used to have.Being a local that eats out regularly, there are many restaurants in Berry area to consider.
We attended a birthday luncheon there. The tables on the verandah had a nice view but the radiant heat from the corregated iron roof was unpleasant. Food was fairly fancy.
We were so impressed by this restaurant, the quality and presentation of the food was simply stunning. Breathtaking views across the vineyard, rustic and classy. But the best part was the customer service and attention from everyone. Made our special evening even more special
Had lunch here today. Food was excellent wait staff questionable! Ordered a bottle of sparkling rose and the first waitress bought out a bottle of Rose, when I told her that the bottle was not sparkling she insisted it was. I had to tell her no, it is not as it would have a cork not a screw top if it was sparkling! Clearly embarrassed we never saw her at our table again.Then what looked to be the manager for the afternoon came out with our sparkling I could see that the bottle was not cold. I asked her if that came fridge and she said it came out of the cellar. Before I could say I dont want it she had already opened the bottle. I told her the sparkling was warm and it needed a bigger ice bucket to get cooler and she simply bought out a glass of ice! Seriously, not knowing the difference between a standard rose and a sparkling and also serving warm sparkling is not acceptable hospitality standards! It is basic 101 of running a venue. No, sorry or even replacement bottle offered. We were simply ignored and had to accept this poor standard.Food was delicious so really disappointing to see the wait staff are letting the kitchen team down here!! On top of it all,we were there to see if the place was suitable as a wedding venue and based on the experience today it definitely wont be on our list.
