Not much to like to be honest. Had an amazing run of great food at Berry and was really looking forward to Hungry Duck, but after the 5 course I was still hungry and quite disappointed...
Terrible. Waited well over an hour and 15 mins for a table (we had booked - and yes, it was NYE so of course we made allowances for some delay). However, with no chance of food in sight we gave up. By that time everything else was shut so we ended up buying food from the servo! They didn't even comp the couple of drinks we'd had whilst waiting all that time, which seemed a bit poor. Suggest to maybe go on a very quiet night when they might have some hope of coping ..
We just had the most amazing lunch menu, everything was fresh, great tasting, and presented beautifully. Services was very warm and welcoming, owner happy to engage and have a chat.Rear garden where all the fresh produce comes from was a delight to wander through..Certainly will be back here!
We did the 5 course tasting meal and loved all of the food. It was well priced for the quality of food. My only complaint was that we sat at the restaurant for 3 hrs waiting for all of our courses to come out. I've never eaten over the course of 3 hrs so it was neat, but if you are looking for a quick date, this is NOT your spot!
A delicious selection of eclectic dishes. The quail eggs we had as a starter were a beautiful burst of flavour to start our meal. The duck spring rolls were also a particular favourite. But the Mittagong mushroom dish was near perfection. We tried a selection of the desserts and each was as good as the next. Would definitely come again
